Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using GESTIA. They explain what the service provides, how documents and purchases work, and your rights and responsibilities.

ON THIS PAGE

1. Who operates GESTIA

GESTIA is an independent digital service operated by Mariana Shytikova, a self-employed professional (autónoma) established in Spain.

Service name: GESTIA
Website: gestia.me
Contact: [email protected]

Additional legally required provider identification is available in our Legal Notice.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or using GESTIA, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

GESTIA is intended for users aged 18 or older. You must provide accurate account information and use the service in compliance with applicable law. GESTIA may be accessed from different countries, but its content and tools focus on Spanish administrative and immigration paperwork.

3. What GESTIA does

GESTIA provides informational guidance and tools that help users understand certain Spanish administrative processes, identify relevant forms, enter information through guided questions, review answers and prepare PDFs based on official-source Spanish forms.

Features and supported procedures may vary over time. Not every Spanish administrative procedure or official form is necessarily available through GESTIA.

Guidance in your language. Official Spanish forms.
GESTIA may present its interface and guidance in multiple languages. The underlying official forms remain in the language and format required by the relevant Spanish authority.

4. Independent service; no legal advice

  • GESTIA is not a Spanish government authority, is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Spanish government, and does not represent any public authority. GESTIA does not provide legal advice or act as your lawyer, immigration representative or government agent.

Information about requirements, procedures and official fees is general and may change. Always check current requirements with the competent authority or an appropriately qualified professional where needed.

Using GESTIA does not guarantee approval of any application, visa, residence status, NIE, permit or other administrative outcome. Unless explicitly stated for a specific feature, GESTIA does not file or submit your documents to a government authority on your behalf.

5. Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account, except where responsibility lies with GESTIA under applicable law. Contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Some features require an account and an internet connection. We may take proportionate steps to protect the service against fraud, misuse or security threats.

6. Information you provide

You are responsible for checking that the information you enter is complete, current and accurate before using any prepared document. Guided questions and validation can help reduce errors but cannot verify every fact or guarantee that an authority will accept a form.

Do not enter information about another person unless you are lawfully entitled to do so. You remain responsible for deciding whether a document is appropriate for your circumstances and for any submission to an authority.

7. Prepared documents, previews and My Documents

GESTIA may prepare a PDF from your answers before requesting payment. A protected or limited preview may be shown before purchase; it is not the same as access to the original downloadable PDF.

Where a purchase or available credit unlocks a prepared document, the unlocked file is the already-generated document associated with that preparation, rather than a newly generated replacement. Unlocked documents may be available through My Documents for viewing, saving, sharing or printing, subject to technical availability and your account status.

GESTIA’s fee covers the digital preparation and/or access functionality described at purchase. It does not mean that the government has issued, approved, accepted or processed the document.

8. Prices, in-app purchases and government fees

Paid digital functionality in the iOS application is offered through Apple In-App Purchase; in the Android application it is offered through Google Play Billing. The applicable store displays the purchase price, currency and payment conditions before confirmation. Apple or Google processes payment under its applicable terms.

Depending on the offer presented in the app, payment may unlock an individual prepared document or provide credits or another clearly described entitlement. The exact quantity, scope, price and conditions of each offer are those displayed before purchase. We do not promise that every type of offer will always be available.

GESTIA service charges are separate from any official Spanish government fees (tasas). Government fee information, where shown, is informational; such fees are not included in the GESTIA purchase price unless expressly and lawfully stated otherwise. Payment to GESTIA is not payment to a public authority.

9. Technical problems, purchases and refunds

If an unlocked PDF is unavailable, corrupted or contains an apparent technical generation error, contact [email protected] with a description of the issue. Do not send identity documents or sensitive form answers unless they are necessary and requested through an appropriate support process. We will investigate and, where appropriate, seek to restore access or correct a service-side error.

Refund requests for purchases made through Apple or Google may be handled through the relevant store’s procedures. Your rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected, including remedies for digital content or services that do not conform to the contract.

See Payments & Refunds for support guidance.

10. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in these terms removes or limits mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law, including rights relating to digital content or digital services and, where applicable, statutory withdrawal rights.

Any statutory exception to a withdrawal right for immediately supplied digital content applies only where the relevant legal requirements have been met, including any required prior consent, acknowledgment and confirmation. Merely using GESTIA or accepting these terms does not, by itself, waive a statutory withdrawal right.

11. Availability, accuracy and service changes

We work to maintain the service and keep its guidance useful, but administrative requirements and official forms can change without notice. We may update content, procedures and features, and may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

We will respect any mandatory obligations concerning changes to digital services, including notice and remedies where required by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every official process is covered.

12. Acceptable use

You must not use GESTIA to submit knowingly false information, impersonate another person, infringe rights, interfere with the service, bypass access or payment controls, or engage in unlawful activity. We may restrict misuse in a proportionate manner, subject to applicable law and any relevant consumer rights.

13. Intellectual property

GESTIA’s branding, original explanations, software, interface and other original service materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the service does not transfer ownership of these materials.

Official government forms and materials remain subject to their respective legal status and applicable rights. GESTIA does not claim to own Spanish government forms. You may use a legitimately obtained prepared document for its intended personal or administrative purpose.

14. Responsibility and liability

GESTIA provides document-preparation tools and general information, not official decisions or professional legal representation. You are responsible for reviewing your answers, checking applicable requirements and submitting documents through the appropriate channels.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GESTIA is not responsible for decisions of public authorities or consequences caused by inaccurate information supplied by a user. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

15. Closing or deleting your account

You may initiate account deletion through Profile → Delete Account in the GESTIA app. Account deletion is intended to remove associated drafts, answers and prepared documents, while records that must be retained for legal, tax or accounting obligations may be kept for the applicable period.

For more information, see our Account Deletion and Privacy Policy pages. Deleting your account does not automatically reverse a completed purchase or remove mandatory financial records.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving consumers residing in other countries of any mandatory protections applicable to them under relevant law. Any dispute-resolution or court provisions are subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules; nothing here requires a consumer to give up the right to bring proceedings in a court made available by applicable law.

If you have a concern, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.

17. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect legal, technical or service changes. We will publish the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Changes will not retroactively remove rights you already have under applicable law.
